SUMMARY:
To provide support to Managers/Directors in daily assistance of all administrative aspects of the sales process with clients, as well as the coordination of tradeshows, collateral materials and travel arrangements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generates contracts, proposals and any additional client correspondence needed to assist with closing of business for groups at the “Hard Rock Hotel,” “Portofino Bay Hotel” and “Royal Pacific Resort.”
• Services as a conduit between Managers / Directors and clients in terms of communication and on any new and existing sales program information.
• Responsible for coordination of all aspects of a site inspection for Managers/Directors including, but not limited to VIP Room Reservations, Amenity Requests, Transportation Requests and VIP Tours.
• Coordinates and processes complimentary ticket requests, entertainment requests, travel requisitions and expense reports.
• Process purchase orders and payment requests.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE: Administrative and clerical duties related to the in house sales teams.
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
EDUCATION:
• High school degree or GED required.
• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
• Six months to one year sales experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 Years: Preferred work experience in a clerical or office environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is require to:
• Regularly (2/3 of the time or more): sit; talk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner; use close vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 inches or less); use distance vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 feet or more); maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedure); maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedure).
• Occasionally (up to 1/3 of time): stand; walk for prolonged periods (including ability to walk at a given pace that is predetermined by a moving sidewalk); hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise; climb stairs/ladder; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head; repeat motions more than twice per minute; lift/push up to 20 pounds with control; maintain alertness and attentiveness up to 4 hours while working varying hours.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:
• Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less): work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight, heat or cold; use a valid Florida state driver’s license; use a motorized company vehicle or a leased or personal vehicle for company business.
