Responsibilities
Leads analysis and optimization of campaign performance from email response data with additional channel response data like direct mail, including analysis against control sets. Partners with CRM team and other internal partners to define and optimize strategy based on analytics. Provides analysis of performance between segments of customers and supports test scenarios by providing analysis of comparative performance between cells. Partners with the Information Technology team to ensure best-of-class data management, analytics and targeting.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct campaign performance analysis using SQL, Tableau, and R-Studio to derive insights and optimize campaign tactics.
• Create and present critical marketing-related analyses.
• Analyze response behavior and performance between segments of consumers, providing comparative analysis across time, segments and messages. Analyze response and performance between cells in various tests implemented across channels.
• Partner with data science team to enhance targeting and personalization.
SCOPE: This role is responsible for personalization, testing, and deep-dive analyses for the CRM marketing channel.
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent analytical skills with past experience in marketing analysis and personalization;
• Experience with R or other analytics tools preferred
• Experience with SQL and big data;
• Experience with presentations;
• Ability to work independently in a deadline oriented environment;
• Ability to evaluate quantitative data sets and determine “big picture” implications required;
• Working knowledge of marketing, media and customer segmentation strategy required;
• Ability to handle multiple projects required;
• Desire to work in a fast paced environment required;
• Proficiency communicating research results in written, visual and verbal form required.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related (or business-related Bachelor's in analysis-related program) required. .
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years prior hands-on experience with analytics leveraging R or SPSS preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
