Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for turning data into actionable insights, support answering strategic business questions, and participate in taking business and functional requirements and translating these requirements into scalable solutions that are supported by the overall data. This individual works closely with Business/Sales and Functional personnel and is a leader who will recommend change and process improvements to proposals, business processes and work-flow designs to support the growth of the organization, in alignment with the strategic plan. The Business Analyst must acquire strong analytical, communication and project management skills. The role will own and analyze data that supports business cases, product road maps, and performance deep dives. The Business Analyst demonstrates good judgment in implementing methods and techniques for obtaining results. This individual should be able to analyze the root causes, determine and implement long-term solutions on day one, and will support the sales and operational teams with advanced analytical and quantitative capabilities.
Qualifications
• Minimum of a B.A./B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting
• A minimum of 3 years Accounting/Finance experience
• Experience related to analysis, process improvements, and strategic planning
• Experience in complex financial analysis and budget analysis with ability to conduct cost/ benefit analysis
• Strong Analytical Skills – inclusive of business statistics and quantitative decision- making
• Business Case Development
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced computer skills
• Must be able to maintain quality of work and at the same time meet multiple deadlines as required
• Must be a strong communicator coupled with the ability to maintain open communication with customers, internal employees and managers as needed
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated teamwork skills
• Awareness and focus on continuous improvement; seeks and is comfortable recommending change
