The Project Coordinator functions as a key member of the team, helping to deliver projects across the whole range of Medical Communications products and services. T
Responsibilities
• Prepare and send manuscript submission packs to journals or authors; maintain publication records
• Assist team with collation of required data for congress abstract submissions and with the submission process
• Produce project timelines for approval by lead account staff
• Liaise appropriately with all relevant departments
• Undertake and drive the day-to-day project management of all assigned projects
• Be the principal point of contact with specified external suppliers
• Follow up on any assigned actions from client meetings, including taking and circulating meeting minutes
• Work closely with the rest of the team to set up new systems/processes to optimally manage the account(s)
• Assist in the development of accurate budget proposals for assigned projects and be accountable for monitoring time and costs throughout project delivery and the reconciliation process
• Assist in the management of monthly financial processes
• Any other duties that can reasonably be expected of you
Experience, skills, and qualifications
Essential
• BA/BS in Life Sciences or related field
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize projects and deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desirable
• Experience managing publications projects
• Hands-on knowledge of Datavision and other publication management tools
