Responsibilities:
• Create or oversee the creation of market-oriented video content, including music videos, lyric videos, behind-the-scenes content, song-by-song descriptions, recording studio documentation, live performance, and artist introductions or bios through all phases of production including creative development, pre-production, production/shooting, post-production, finishing/delivery.
• Collaborate with artists and the label creative staff to create or oversee the creation of video content for live shows (textural/mood, lyrics, images, and transitional), retail project content, and presentations.
• Collaborate with the creative and digital marketing team to develop multi-platform visual content
• Coordinate and communicate with outside video directors, producers, and other vendors.
• Gather all assets needed for the creation of content, and make sure they are internally approved by the Business Affairs and Marketing teams.
• Work with marketing staff to coordinate traffic of all marketing video content.
• Process and track expenses, invoices, and departmental purchases.
• Work with the Director of Label Operations to maintain and update a weekly video production grid listing all pertinent video-related information.
• Maintain and update the department’s master video archive (includes HD masters and elements).
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated project management experience, including production, direction, or editing of video pieces, typically gained through 2 or more years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of video production hardware, including camera, lenses, basic lighting, and sound.
• Proficiency of video production software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Minimum of an associate degree or bachelor degree preferred.
• Experience in the Christian music industry preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in video production, either in a workplace environment or in a freelance capacity. The ideal candidate is brimming with new ideas to take video branding to the next level. Finally, the ideal candidate will be highly invested in his or her work with a flexible, easygoing style.
