DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining the territory’s advertising revenue and exceeding revenue goals our division. They will work with our existing and new clients to determine their business needs and formulate an ad sales solution based on the portfolio of brands we represent. They will possess an established and demonstrable list of clients, both nationally and regionally and will leverage these relationships to conduct high volume face-to-face calls. The Senior Account Executive will be constantly coming up with ways to educate and consult with our customers and be able to provide tools, data, research and ideas to help them maximize their advertising potential on our diverse list of brands. They will be expected to develop account and territory strategies for long-term development and revenue growth, meeting the budget expectations for their level and those set for the region.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate a willingness to take charge and work forcefully to achieve results, despite obstacles. They will set and own their territory sales agenda including the following:
Maximize territory ad revenue through management of existing and creation of new advertiser relationships.
Seeking out and developing strategic relationships with decision makers and working directly with clients and their advertising agencies to develop custom media programs to suit their specific needs.
Take the strategic lead in managing their accounts internally and externally.
Managing a territory quota, setting goals and working with management, product marketing and marketing to strategize on new business opportunities and creative approaches to RFPs.
Setting territory sales agenda including prioritizing and organizing sales calls for maximum dollars and managing T&E.
Establish in person relationships with clients by conducting high volume of face-to-face calls.
Proactively communicate account and sales information to management and other team members through regular call reports.
Manage the relationship with a dedicated Account Manager and Account Coordinator to distribute workload and optimize efficiency of territory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team, goal oriented environment
5-7 years proven revenue generation, with 3-5 years in the interactive space.
A focus and/or background within the digital and entertainment category.
Meaningful contacts and relationships at key accounts and agencies associated with the region or territory.
Possess the strong desire to win, and to continually develop their personal and professional skills.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Well developed presentation skills.
Ability to manage stress well, and juggle multiple account challenges at once.
BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience.
Must successfully pass a background check.
