What’s the Role:
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to assist two Global Heads of Product, and their direct reports. You’ll be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks, as well as possess analytical skills. An interest/experience in the finance or technology industries would be great to see. You’ll be able to work independently, be extremely well organized, detail oriented, and have a positive disposition.
You’ll be a natural at building relationships within the division and across the firm globally. We work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, so you’ll be an expert in remaining calm, being flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this role.
The Core Terminal business is the main revenue driver and financial backbone of Bloomberg. The Product division of Core Terminal is responsible for the design, development and management of the Bloomberg Terminal product set as well as its position in the market.
We’ll trust you to:
• Perform general administrative duties including calendar maintenance, travel arrangements, and expense filings
• Gathering and analyse data including quarterly departmental metrics, monthly status reporting and ad hoc management reporting
• Management of the internal mobility/headcount process, seating assignments, maintenance of job codes, and assistance with on-boarding new hires into the group
• Assist with power point presentations to senior management that include monthly and quarterly business plan updates
• Prepare for annual business planning summits which include booking appropriate meeting space, organizing invitations, meals, etc.
• Manage shared calendar and meeting agendas
• Take on ad hoc projects and reporting as required
You’ll need to have:
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Recent and relevant administrative or business work experience
• Experience in financial services or technology industries preferred
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• A can-do attitude, with positive disposition
We’d love to see:
• Proficiency with the Bloomberg terminal
