JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader and analytics expert for IgnitionOne’s newly-created Analytics practice to help us deliver “game changing” insights to our clients. The role entails building and managing a world-class digital advertising analytics team, being responsible for creating, executing and evolving an analytics strategy, and working with our reporting and data engineering groups to create high-value data assets that can be used by other teams. This role reports to the Chief Data Scientist.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create company’s Analytics Strategy team, acting as primary analytics point of contact for internal clients. Act as the focal point for Sales, Client Success for analytics.
• Represent company’s analytic expertise and leadership to clients, partners, and internal teams. Participate in key client meetings.
• Lead the development of relevant, accurate and actionable insights for digital marketing based data that spans all digital marketing channels, including search, display, video, mobile, social, and email.
• Partner with BI-Reporting team in defining high impact reports and visualization.
• Collaborate with Product Management to formulate differentiated Analytics offerings.
• Bring deep analytic competencies and play a strong role in shaping and driving the execution of its strategies and plans.
• Act as a “Translator” between clients, business, and analysts to deliver high value engagements.
• Recognizing and delivering solutions/engagements where clients can recognize significant values from analytic services
• Serving as an active participant in client acquisition and ongoing client service
• Building out high performance analytic team. Training and coaching staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Possesses at least 10 years of experience in analytics and deep experience in digital advertising analytics/research. Agency experience desirable.
• Strong problem solving / solution design skills and business judgment
• Demonstrated ability to structure and lead effective analytic client engagements. Previous experience with creating analyses and presentations that have led to material business decisions
• Excellent communication, diplomacy, and visualization skills
• Prior experience building and developing team of analysts
• Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau or MicroStrategy required
