DESCRIPTION:
Working within CBS Radio's new MusicTown venue, you will be overseeing operations which will include but not limited to, sponsorship activation, artist booking and coordination, scheduling and coordination of all content including performances, broadcasts, production, workshops and interviews. Duties and responsibilities will also include managing daily operations, day-to-day maintenance and upkeep for MusicTown. As part of the management team, you will participate in strategy development, budgeting and planning, assessment of results, and creation of appropriate action plans for the business unit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred:
• Expertise in leading or working within artist booking, hospitality and sponsor fulfillment
• Leading an operations function, ideally within an entertainment or hospitality venue
• Experience developing and redesigning processes and reporting
• Operational analysis and implementation
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and parallel many competing priorities
• Cross functional team leadership and participation, hands on approach
• Project management
• Ability to problem solve and work independently
• Business insight and judgment with exceptional follow through
• Entertainment and non-profit/grant experience a plus
• Proactive communicator regarding obstacles and progress and a strong collaborator
