We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Vice President & Controller on all day to day activities. This role also works with all members of the Finance team in the day to day functions that make the department run.
Responsibilities:
• Maintains meeting schedules and works to keep day flowing and appointments on-schedule for multiple supervisors; arranges conference spaces for meetings.
• Manages expense reports and processes invoices, as needed.
• Fields telephone calls and provides answers to direct inquiries.
• Creates spreadsheets and presentations for team, as needed.
• Prepares CEO/CFO Certification Letters.
• Distributes News Corp Press Releases.
• Prepares donation, acquisition and inventory reports.
• Maintains various documents and Excel files.
• Provides administrative support for multiple supervisors, including filing, copying, maintain office supplies and other miscellaneous office tasks.
• Plans and schedules all travel needed, including purchase of airline and train tickets and making hotel reservations.
• Works on special projects, as requested.
Qualifications:
• Must have 3+ years work experience assisting someone in a management position
• College Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Finance/Tax experience is preferred
• Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrate the ability to problem-solve
• Must be able to work independently and set priorities
• Ability to multi-task and handle numerous job responsibilities simultaneously
• Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong computer skills; Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) essential
• Should enjoy maintaining schedules and organization and keeping the team on-track
