MullenLowe is seeking an accurate and thorough manager of marketing assets for our Los Angeles team.
The digital asset manager will:
• Be responsible for collaborating on overall strategy, implementation, upgrades to, and workflow of the digital asset management system
• Act as primary liaison between agencies, various photo studios, and other agency partners with regard to image names, new photography and video, archiving, file uploads, metadata, and agency policies and procedures
• Be responsible for assigning shot numbers/file names and appropriate metadata for assets to ensure quick and efficient searches along with accurate usage rights
• Facilitate/manage metadata input from interagency departments such as product info, broadcast production, digital production, art production, print production, account groups, and so on
• Proactively manage the agency's portfolio-of-produced-work library
• Manage Google-doc shot lists for projects throughout the production process
• Manage and facilitate the uploading of assets and maintain and upgrade the system
• Register internal and external users to the digital asset management system based on permissions
• Facilitate the retrieval of previously cataloged images/shoots/videos
• Process raw images using the appropriate software
• Archive assets as necessary
• Generate asset download reports
• Maintain accurate procedures and records to support best practices for system improvement and communication opportunities. Routine analysis of system performance may include such factors as user experience, search performance, and identifying points of system slowdowns. The results of these studies should be used to suggest and implement appropriate solutions
• Keep informed of the latest digital asset management technology trends and innovations
• Promote, train, and support all DAM users on a regular basis
• Create a workflow for the use of assets with the DAM
• Maintain consistency for the overall system
• Develop and maintain metadata standards used within the organization
• Review and test any configurations and/or customizations for the DAM
• Be the biggest proponent, in-house advocate, and expert in DAM for the agency
Requirements:
-Four year degree required
-Basic knowledge of web development, content strategy, and UX a plus
