Responsibilities
The Director, Product Marketing will work in fast paced, dynamic environment and is responsible for driving the long-range brand strategy, brand management and key marketing efforts across a portfolio of mobile games based on Universal’s top franchises.
The ideal candidate has expertise in entertainment, product marketing, brand marketing/management, digital marketing strategies and activities. This person will also have experience managing licensing partners, cross-functional processes and high-performing marketing teams. Direct experience in the mobile game marketing space is highly desired.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall product branding, positioning and marketing strategies for a portfolio of mobile games
Be an active leader on the mobile games marketing team providing deep insights and key learnings across the entire mobile marketing organization.
Partner closely with Games & Digital Platforms functions to build and optimize long-range brand and product plans while ensuring day-to-day efforts of the marketing team tie back to those strategies.
Drive ongoing marketing programming and engagement of game titles – utilizing integrated marketing strategies, paid media, consumer insights, and player engagement channels.
Responsible for the product go-to-market plans for each product, P&L, key KPIs, and integrated marketing plan for managing games.
Identify and spearhead marketing strategies to drive the business forward with
ambitious and achievable results
Keep up with industry trends and leverage innovative marketing tactics to drive successful campaigns
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of marketing experience within entertainment, interactive or mobile games, e-commerce or digital
Bachelors degree
Experience in all major areas of marketing, including mobile, online and offline, brand management and product marketing, search, CRM, social media and PR.
Strong expertise/understanding of mobile
Solid project management skills to coordinate across internal functional groups and external partners/licensors
