Hearst Digital Media is seeking a full-time Business Coordinator, Branded Content Studio. This person will assist with the day-to-day operations and offer business support for the Studio, the department within Hearst that creates content in partnership with advertisers to run on all our digital properties, including ELLE.com, MarieClaire.com, Esquire.com and more.
Job Description
This position will report to the Managing Editor of the Branded Content Studio. You will work closely with our Managing Editor as well as our photo and art team and the Hearst finance team to support the business framework of our branded content division. This is not an editorial assistant role, but a business support role.
Responsibilities:
• Process and track invoices for all branded programs, including payment inquiries
• Onboard new vendors and contributors
• Assist with daily pricing requests
• Assist with program schedules and timelines
• Work closely with the Managing Editor, creating, vetting and tracking all contributor, vendor, model, talent and influencer contracts and usage rights for all co-branded campaigns
• Provide administrative support for the Content Studio team as needed
Requirements:
• 2+ years of editorial/media administrative assistance
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Document management systems
• Working knowledge of content management systems
• Familiarity with image permissions
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Detail-oriented with strong communication, organizational and time-management skills
