JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for developing functional requirements to support new products and features, implementation of product updates to deployed products, and supporting lifecycle maintenance activities for Charter’s Enterprise Voice services portfolio. The Senior Director of Product Infrastructure will have an in-depth understanding of the network and systems platforms supporting the Enterprise voice product portfolio and will work with Product line leaders to drive product initiatives that will increase market penetration and revenue growth. The Director of Voice Product Infrastructure will lead the development of functional requirements and engage cross functionally with Engineering, Operations, Customer Care, IT and external vendors to define the technical and functional requirements from which the systems will be built to support a new product initiative.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively and consistently support all efforts to deliver a comprehensive, best-in-class customer experience and product portfolio that satisfies the current and future needs of our enterprise customers.
Provide detailed requirements to operations, IT and network systems infrastructure teams to support the development of new unified communications and voice connectivity product features and capabilities.
Provide feedback to Product Management and Development teams on the capabilities of network and operational systems and tools to support product requirements.
Support Product Development, including:
• Manage the process for development of functional requirements, including writing requirements for selected system elements such as provisioning.
• Contribute to development, review, and maintenance of product functional specifications.
• Manage resources that develop user stories and test cases.
• Certify products that are developed prior to release
• Provide Enterprise requirements for voice infrastructure network and systems development initiatives
Interface to OSS/BSS, engineering, and IT to assure that systems architecture and implementation satisfies the short and long term vision of product features and service delivery capabilities.
Product certification testing
Familiar with the agile framework, working methodology as well as industry best practices in product development, specific to the Cable or telecommunications space.
Build and manage strong working relationships with the cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, UX, Customer Care, Sales, Sales Support and external vendors needed to drive an efficient development effort for new enterprise voice initiatives.
Ensures communication with all stakeholders is being managed effectively.
Manage priorities and scope for release planning

Education:
BA/BS Degree in Business or Technical Degree related to the Telecommunications field.
Related Work ExperienceNumber of Years
Telecommunications experience, ideally with a successful ILEC/CLEC, or 8+
telecommunication equipment manufacturer
Experience managing personnel to deliver high quality products in very 8+
aggressive timeframes
Experience successfully delivering/launching telecommunications products 8+
Experience writing technical systems requirements 8+
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Related Work Experience
Experience in Cable, Telecommunications
IT requirements development experience preferred
Working Conditions:
Office Environment.
Travel up to 15%
