The goal of the licensing manager is to strategize, manage, drive, and grow international licenses. This individual will help to develop and implement the strategy to grow international licensing programs through expanded global reach. Serve as prime licensee contact; identify, negotiate and execute new license agreements; be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of licensing business.
Responsibilities:
• Activities in order to maximize revenues and profits and maintain an appropriate competitive position
• Develops and implements strategic international licensing plans and manage relationships with licensing partners
• Develop new licensing opportunities and plans to further expand our products in new international markets
• Stays abreast of changes in international market environments and adjusts licensing strategy as needed
• Work closely with key internal departments to perform due diligence, find best-in-class partners, negotiate deals, set up, launch and manage partnerships for long term success
• Responsible for meeting/exceeding growth and revenue targets, including monthly revenue analysis and forecasting
• Provides direction, strategy, consistent policy, monitoring and execution guidance for product management within all existing/future Clinical Assessment business units so that a holistic corporate view and strategy is maintained
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required
• 3-5 years business experience; previous experience in licensing field a plus
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to analyze financial, market and competitive information, combining these data to both derive/create appropriate metrics
• Process-oriented to develop/maintain good information exchange processes maximizing internal/external communication globally regarding key issues for licensed products (product management, legal, publishing partners etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
