Blackboard’s North American Higher Education (NAHE) Field Marketing team supports the NAHE Sales teams in building and progressing the sales pipeline and retaining customers. The Field Marketing Intern will support the department in a number of ways, including developing campaigns to create qualified leads and moving those leads through the customer lifecycle using content, developing renewal toolkits for sales to leverage during that process, managing content creation that supports digital campaigns and retention activities, leading and implementing an event strategy and social media.
The NAHE Field Marketing Intern will play an integral role in the success of the group. Specifically s/he will be responsible for:
• Must have a passion for learning about marketing/sales and an interest in software/technology
• Assist with demand generation campaigns, lead management, webinars, and event planning
• Assist with the management and creation of sales tools
• Other marketing/sales responsibilities as assigned
Projects include:
• Bringing a creative voice to brainstorms and offering suggestions for tactics supporting marketing plans
• Assisting in executing against tactics already defined across demand generation campaigns, retention programs, and partnerships.
• Support audience generation and onsite execution for activities for national conference, BbWorld16
• Digital and social marketing campaign planning and execution
• Coordinate Market research efforts with the persona leaders to further understand buying preferences and behaviors.
Learning & Development:
• The fundamentals of supporting a sales organization via sales operations, metrics and reporting, and territory planning.
• The framework for supporting a sales organization through field marketing initiatives, specifically in the areas of lead/demand generations, market/product specific initiatives and event planning.
Required Experience:
• Must presently be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
• Must have a moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Must have a passion for the field of sales or marketing

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Passion for excellence with focus on delivering results
• Experience using Blackboard, Salesforce and Eloqua a plus
Paid Internship, no credit. 40 Hours/Week. Pay based on experience
