Purpose of the Role: This position is responsible for directing a team that manages hundreds of sales pilots across the nation to convert them from pilots to full sales. Sales leaders select pilots and set the strategy for each pilot. The Pilot Management Team (PMT) manages the pilots and coordinates all required support services during the term of the pilot. The PMT directly delivers some support services plus coordinates both per-diems and support provided by multiple groups across the company. This position directs the PMT.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the employees and contingent workers of the PMT. This includes, recruit, hire, train, develop, evaluate, and coach the personnel.
• Manage the delivery of support services to hundreds of sales pilots in order to convert pilots to full sales.
• Work collaboratively with leaders in Sales, GSSM, Marketing, Services, and Research to operate pilots to that meet their needs.
• Work collaboratively with Services, CSG, and Research to negotiate and deploy their support services into pilots when needed.
• Track key performance indicators and prepare reports for sales managers to track the progress of all pilots.
• Work collaboratively with the Sales Enablement to train contingent workforce personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned/needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business or other job related discipline. Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
• A minimum of five years of successful management experience.
• Sales and/or service management experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Highly organized and able to transfer strategies into actions that deliver results.
• Detail oriented manager that can manage personnel tracking large numbers of simultaneous projects.
• Proficient in MS Office suite, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to work irregular hours and travel up to 80% - driving and flying.
Physical Requirements:
• Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
• Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time as air travel and/or driving between customer sites.
• This role is home-based in USA . Home-based location is in any major city / near USA major airport.
