JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Marketing Operations is responsible for leading and managing the Marketing Operations team for Spectrum Enterprise. The Marketing Operations team executes marketing programs, builds and manages the marketing technology stack, develops and manages Enterprise websites and conducts marketing analytics and reporting. The Senior Director of Marketing Operations manages a staff of experienced Marketing professionals and is responsible for translation of marketing strategies into executable objectives. As a senior leader the Senior Director is skilled in multiple marketing disciplines and technologies including website development, digital media advertising, search engine management, social media, email and direct mail communications, marketing automation, CRM systems, sales enablement systems, marketing database management, market data analysis, and web development.
The Senior Director of Marketing Operations must be able to enable cross-functional collaboration in a highly dynamic environment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands overall corporate initiatives, programs and objectives and leverage available resources in planning and execution.
Develops Marketing Operations strategies to support Marketing’s obtainment of the company’s revenue objectives.
Leads a team of Directors that drive Marketing Operations Execution, Web and Technology Stack Implementation and Marketing Analytics and Reporting.
Strategic lead for the development and management of the company’s website to support demand generation goals and alignment with overall brand value proposition and differentiation messaging.
Leverages and expands the marketing technology stack using existing systems for demand generation programs and campaigns, including Marketo, Eloqua and Salesforce.
Oversees execution of all Marketing Operations programs that include: digital media, automated demand generation, content syndication, paid search and nurture programs.
Manage brand execution, collaborating with Marketing Communications to ensure alignment with brand messaging in all corporate website content and all executed marketing programs.
Leads the Marketing Analytics and Reporting team; executes closed-loop reporting and analysis programs to meet the reporting needs of multiple cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, product and sales.
Leads the Marketing Analytics and Reporting team to execute the development of market segmentation, relative targeting and predictive models to support advanced prospect targeting and engagement.
Foster the development and continuous improvement of a team of directors, managers and individual contributors.
Manage the Marketing Operations budget to include annual budget planning, quarterly reforecasts, and maintaining budget trackers for operational and capital expenses.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
In depth knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and tactics
In depth knowledge in the strategic application of marketing technologies
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and procedures
Knowledge of demand generation strategies and programs
Knowledge of media and print advertising programs
Strong analytic, organizational, and problem solving skills
Strong team and relationship building skills
Proven leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Note: This position requires Eloqua and Sales Force campaign experience.
