JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President, Billing Assurance and Specialty Accounts is responsible for planning and leading efforts related to ensuring billing accuracy and integrity for residential and small business customers. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities and coordinating with cross functional teams to drive results. Additionally, this individual will manage and oversee the daily operations of the Specialty Accounts team, which is responsible for managing accounts that have unique characteristics and require dedicated support.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Presents business findings to Senior Leadership team
Develops and implements billing assurance applications and processes.
Defines and implements billing system controls leveraging enterprise product catalogue, system configuration and exception reporting to ensure policy and process compliance with company defined business rules.
Develops, implements and maintains reporting databases to establish trending as a means to detect data leakage/processing fallout.
Conducts verification of the introduction of promos, new products and new features to the billing system.
Develops, implements and maintains business process associated with Specialty Account processing, account maintenance and corrections.
Audits data uploaded from the billing systems; validates against and reconciles with reports provided by billing systems.
Responsible for supervising the billing assurance staff.
Builds and manages operations team to manage specialty accounts and back-office operations (employee, bulk, complimentary, exception management, test, etc.).
Performs other duties as requested for supervisor.
Serves as the local expert for revenue data, research questions for management and conduct ad-hoc investigation.

Knowledge of cable television products and services
Knowledge of cable billing systems
Experience with databases and data analysis
Ability to think outside the box and apply critical thinking skills
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to work independently
Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and make deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Related Work Experience ����� Number of Years
Billing or Accounting experience 15+
Management experience 10+
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Operations experience a plus
Self-motivated with entrepreneurial skills
Strong knowledge of financial systems
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required, CPA or MBA preferred
