JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Product Marketing, will be responsible for producing product marketing programs to position Charter Communications commercial products and services portfolio. Responsibilities include creation of product marketing strategies, go to market plans, messaging and collaboration with cross-functional team campaigns to drive product specific launches, lead generation programs and campaigns.
Also requires strong leadership skills to lead and manage a team of product marketing managers with deep technical expertise in the assigned product area: Data Networking, Internet Technologies, Security Services, Voice Services, Cloud Computing, Managed Services or Advanced Technologies (including NFV/SDN). Activities may also include evaluation and recommendation of integrated marketing programs, developing and qualifying market opportunities, indentifing prospects, construction of personas and developing solutions specific commercial insights. The position requires solid knowledge of telecommunications products, as well as a broad understanding of B2B marketing techniques.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Product Management and Research & Development to ensure strong and effective cross-functional product marketing strategy, positioning and messaging.� Interface with product management, offer management, sales, operations, marketing communications and segment marketing teams.
Develop of the go to market strategy for the all Enterprise product areas including value propositions, messages, positioning statements and commercial insights. Identify product-specific applications and develop target customer user personas and profiles
Recruit and staff the product marketing team with qualified, knowledgeable product marketing managers with the right product and industry knowledge.
Manage the individual product marketing responsibilities for product marketing managers and ensure timely delivery of high quality deliverables to product management, marketing and sales
Be the subject matter expert for the overall Enterprise product offering to support the development of content for external and internal marketing and promotions activities.
Identify and apply the most effective marketing vehicles for programs and activities and metrics for promoting the assigned product
Support product-specific marketing activities; tie activities to market success as measured by key metrics including overall growth, market penetration, positioning, market share, and ROI
Contribute to development and maintenance of effective sales tools and training
Embody a high-energy, high-integrity and customer-driven culture. Lead, motivate and influence team members and others in the organization in a positive fashion. Exude positive energy and rally the organization behind the Charter goals of disrupting the market, taking share and driving continued growth.
Present findings and make recommendations to team members and leadership as appropriate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Demonstrated proficiency in market and competitive analysis
Demonstrated proficiency in development and delivery of product marketing plans, messaging and commercial insights
Experience marketing telecom products to B2B enterprise audiences
Effective business management skills including strong interpersonal, organizational and prioritization skills.
Knowledge of and experience with digital marketing, web technologies, analysis/business intelligence and B2B marketing tactics.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment with minimal direction and supervision.
Outstanding visual, verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting information to senior executives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Business IT or equivalent experience
Master’s preferred

Approximately 25% travel required
