Spectrum Reachcurrently seeks a Sales Coordinator to support our Bay News 9 and News 13 sales group in the Tampa / St. Petersburg media market.

Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Summary:
Assist Director of News and Senior Manager of News--Bay News 9 and News 13, by providing administrative support and supplying information for news channels products to Account Executives and management. Create and implement systems that simplify the process and integration of News product sales. Troubleshoot problems, recommend solutions, and manage to completion and implementation.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with activities between the sales staff, other departments like pricing and planning, as well as our client base, by performing the following duties:
• Reports to Director of News and Sr. Manager of News (Bay News 9 and News 13)
• Assist Director of News with reports as required. This includes pulling data out of our software systems and creation and manipulation of pivot table reports and charts.
• Assist Senior Manager of News (Bay News 9 and News 13) in the preparation of all materials for news and digital properties as it relates to sales presentations, newsletters packaging and promotional material.
• Receive and screen telephone calls as requested, handle routine inquiries, forward sales leads, and keep records of activities.
• Prepare collateral materials for sales training meetings.
• Extensive computer use with multiple software applications.
• Monitor orders and alert Director of any rate and/or inventory discrepancies.
• Assist in managing the work flow of all news sales by streamlining systems and processes.
• Daily tracking and update of avails of news sponsorships.
• Filing as requested.
• Punctual consistent attendance is required. Must be available for overtime as required.
• Communicate programming updates to the sales floor
• Update sales collateral materials as needed, to create a polished, sophisticated brand look and feel.
Job Requirements:
• This position requires a career oriented multi-tasker, responsible and organized individual with good initiative and judgment to independently handle a variety of administrative details and confidential materials.
• Experience in computer software including MS Office and Excel spreadsheets at a minimum is required; any experience in software similar to our sales support packages preferred.
• Intermediate MS Excel computer skills are required
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers, co-workers, key clients and superiors in written and verbal form; ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Media experience a plus.
