Springer Nature is looking for a Technical Account Managerto work alongside our Business Development and Product Development teams around the Adis product portfolio.
You will provide accurate technical service before, during and after the point of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction.
As a Technical account manager, you should be a tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience. You should also be results-driven and aspire to achieve specific goals.
Ultimately, you should be able to provide technical, product and business knowledge to support sales process and strengthen customer relationships.
Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for customers, product development and sales teams and to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
• Understand a complex software product that delivers pharmacological data and address all product-related queries on time
• Address quality-related queries around Software Validation and regulatory compliance of IT systems for Pharmacovigilance
• Act as a bridge between product development and sales teams aligning product roadmap with strategic sales plans
• Provide product team with customers’ feedback to help identify potential new features or products
• Provide product support and training for customers together with the product development and sales teams
• Provide support during audits by based on contractual agreements on products, services, quality, Software Validation and regulatory compliance
• Monitor and report on product performance
• Identify opportunities and solutions to improve our products and reduce support costs
What we are looking for
• Proven work experience as a Technical account manager or related roles
• Solid technical background with familiarity on backend and frontend software development
• An ability to gasp customers’ needs and suggest timely solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience working in a highly regulated and compliance-driven industry preferred
• Pharmacological domain knowledge preferred
