The Resource Deployment Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that a team of 2-3 Resource Deployment Advisors successfully schedules and delivers all days of program activation and professional development services each year within his or her assigned Sales Region. This person ensures that the team follows all policies and procedures to drive the lowest possible cost for each day of service delivered. This position partners with the Regional Vice Presidents of Sales, the Regional Service Managers and the Market General Managers (Sales) on any large or complex services engagements or any other services scheduling issues in the Region. To optimize the regional service and costs, the Resource Deployment Supervisor works closely with Account General Managers and Sales Specialists within his or her assigned Region, as well as the Services Operations and Delivery Teams. This position will also handle all Tier 1 (minor) escalation issues within the region. The Resource Deployment Supervisor also executes Scheduling and back-end revenue recognition processes for large Services engagements in his or her assigned Region.
Qualifications
Formal education or equivalent experience -
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in customer care, sales support, or related field.
• Demonstrated strong leadership ability.
• Minimum 1 year experience with professional development resource deployment and Pearson Consultant Scheduling Site.
• Experience working in educational publishing, professional development, or services industries is preferred.
Skills/knowledge/abilities –
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Access and MS Excel.
• Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to execute multiple simultaneous high-priority assignments on tight deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in high-energy, fast-paced work environment.
• Familiarity with Oracle and SAP.
