Are you passionate for Digital Media? Would you like to collaborate with talent and ad agencies in the Streaming and On Demand Digital Audio space? CBS Radio houses over 350 podcasts. Categories include: Comedy & Entertainment, Sports, News & Politics, Business & Tech, Games & Hobbies, Fashion, Health, Lifestyle and Play.it Originals! CBS Radio is currently seeking a full-time Account Manager, Digital Audio. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, energetic, have strong digital media planning experience, is organized and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage, retain, grow and satisfy CBS Radio’s most critical customer business relationships in the podcast space. The Account Manager will work hand in hand with the Director of Digital Audio Sales, the Mobile and Video Initiatives Team, Integrated Marketing, Local Market Producers, and external vendors to ensure campaigns are running effectively and efficiently all while providing constant communication with our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage client relationships, including determining client goals, deliverables, approvals, and asset management in order to achieve best results and meet tight timelines
• Liaise between talent and client; be present during on-boarding calls, getting talent approval, ensuring execution of campaigns
• Own the management of all Live Reads from insertion order (IO) to air checks
• Monitor fee billing confirmation and work with CBS billing team for national orders
• Coordinate with talent on product use tied to campaigns
• Write/edit copy for campaigns as well as coordinate live events and endorsements
• Coordinate pre-planning and post-sell reports
• Maintain IO data in WideOrbit/Operative, train and coach local markets on their respective orders
• Pull avails and put media plans together for both Streaming and On Demand
• Provide weekly reports to producers regarding live reads, provide pre-recorded spots off to client for approval
• Coordinate with Integrated Marketing on co-branded artwork for client approval
• Report weekly timestamps, airchecks, and listenership to AEs, agency, and/or client
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS/BA degree
• 3+ years of Account Management or Client Management experience, preferred experience with digital ad agencies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to identify and solve problems, create and innovate on behalf of clients
• Sharp organization and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment with revolving deadlines
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with entertainment and brand clients is strongly preferred
• Talent management preferred but not required
• Experience working with Ad Serving Technologies such as Adswizz and Triton a plus
