The Pearson Australia Marketing team are now seeking a talented Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator for a 6 month contract.
Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, and working alongside experienced professionals, you will complete valuable tasks that inevitably will help go-to-market strategies and building brand awareness.
Main responsibilities of the role:
• Work with key product and sales teams across the Schools, Higher Education, Pearson Academy & Pearson Clinical businesses to provide supporting communication and collateral
• As an integral member of the Pearson Australia Marketing Planning team, you will work closely with the campaign and digital marketing teams on a day-to-day basis
• Support strategic positioning of products and services by working closely with the Planning team to understand and articulate real benefits and distinguishing features of the offer
• Work with the Planning team to develop an engaging, customer- led messaging framework
• Develop and implement internal communications plans and content in conjunction with key stakeholders
• Support the Marketing teams in furthering Content Marketing strategies
• Occasional support for Brand & PR on large-scale projects and events
Qualifications
• Copywriting and proofreading sales and marketing collateral, including web, print and conference materials
• Copywriting and proofreading for digital product communications
• Working with the graphic designer on creative design support for campaign material
• Tertiary qualifications in Arts, Marketing, Communications or similar related discipline
• Solid professional experience in related field
Desirable but not essential
• Copywriting and proofreading for digital product communications
• Email database management and maintenance
• Basic InDesign skills
