Position Summary:

Over 25 years, Eurosport has established itself as a household name for live sports. Now, Discovery has re-energised Eurosport to connect fans and athletes around the sports they love.
The new Eurosport tells great sport stories of human perseverance, achievement and inspiration told by the best experts. Eurosport digital is a high growth area of the business, encompassing all of our direct to consumer platforms including the Eurosport Player, Eurosport.com and our social media activities.
The Strategy Manager will support all development aspects of the Eurosport digital organisation, working with key stakeholders to identify, model, communicate, approve and implement growth opportunities.
This role will work closely with all departments of the Eurosport and Eurosport digital organisation, including rights acquisitions, product, content and sales & marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity within a dynamic, growing and ambitious organisation that is looking to define how sport fans engage with their passions.
Responsibilities:
Key responcibilities include but are not limited to:
• Drive the development of Eurosport Digital’s long-term strategy, including the creation of a market and sports roadmap
• Model sports rights acquisitions and make recommendations on how to proceed
• Provide analytical support for digital growth initiatives (including desk research and financial analysis)
• Prepare market, technology and competitor analysis, profiling key players in sports digital space
• Create and deliver exceptional presentations for internal approvals, internal updates and external pitches
• Coordinate and track key projects across the ES digital organisation
Requirements:
Ideal experience required:
• Digital media experience and a passion for sport
• Strategic thinker
• Strong communicator capable of preparing and delivering compelling presentations to inform and persuade
• Financially numerate with ability to build financial models in Excel
• Proven experience working at a leading consulting firm, digital agency, media or technology business
