Job Summary:
The Senior Director, Change Acceleration will provide change acceleration consultation to enterprise-wide initiatives to support key organizational objectives by increasing employee understanding, adoption and engagement. The focus will be on the people-impacting aspects of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing Change Acceleration strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Senior Director will provide enterprise leadership in in the development of common tools for supporting the 'ease-of application' of Change Acceleration tools without compromising on the quality of application or outcome. The Senior Director will facilitate the development of enterprise Community of Practice for Change Acceleration Leads and Change Acceleration Practitioners. The Senior Director will act as a Train-the-Trainer for building organizational capability and capacity around the common Comcast Change Acceleration framework and tools.
Consultation = 80 %, Common Tools/Best Practices= 10 %, CoP/Collaboration =10 %.
Core Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for enterprise-wide strategic change initiatives
• Support leaders in the chartering of initiatives and identifying measures of success
• Partner with leaders and project management in the identification of Change Acceleration Network
• Complete Change Acceleration assessments: Prosci PCT, Risk Assessment and CMROI, facilitate impact, sponsor and resistance analysis, and facilitate the development of Change Acceleration Plans
• Partner with SMEs in the development of Communication and Training plans to support the change
• Support the implementation of the targeted change and ensure post implementation assessment of end-user adoption and utilization of the change
• Identify and implement reinforcement plans
• Ensure ongoing stakeholder updates and identification of ROI
• Coach managers and supervisors
• Support the ongoing adoption of the Prosci Change Acceleration framework and tools into Comcast organization, including case Study development of change initiatives
• Facilitate leader, manager and employee Prosci training and certification.
Job Specification:
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
• Experience and knowledge of Change Acceleration principles, methodologies and tools
• Significant experience is design and development of change management initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal; ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
• Forward looking with a holistic approach
• Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills, lean/six sigma expertise a plus
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
• Experience and knowledge of Prosci methodologies and tools
• Ability to manage SharePoint 365 site for the team
• Strong analytic skills
• Portfolio Management a plus.
Education Level:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, Masters preferred.
• Generally requires 10 years related experience
Certifications:
• Prosci Change Acceleration Certification, preferred
• Completion of Prosci Train-the-trainer Certification within 90 days of employment.
