DESCRIPTION:
CBS This Morning is looking for a Supervising Producer to work the overnight shift. The Supervising Producer will be responsible for reviewing and approving scripts, handling breaking news, launching stories, and preparing the show for broadcast. Candidates must have excellent script-writing abilities, attention to detail, and strong news judgement. Ideal candidate should also be a leader, calm under pressure, and experienced managing a team of producers. Must be willing to work overnight and flexible hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 10 years experience as a producer and/or senior-level producer on a news program
• Field experience required, control room experience a plus
• Must have management experience in a newsroom
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment
• Exceptional written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
