We have an opening for an experienced, innovative, strategic Brand Manager in our Burr Ridge office. Does this sound like you?
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Brand Manager will be responsible for the strategic vision, as well as the acquisition, development, and launch of digital products and related content. You will be accountable for achieving timely, quality and profitable offerings and will have direct oversight of brand-level development including market analysis, product acquisitions, author management, and project management, supporting our Operations and Decisions Sciences program.
Critical Functions:
• Develop and execute product strategy and plan with vision statement/value proposition, P&L, resource allocation, schedules, market dynamics, and strategy for success under the direction of Senior Leadership.
• Create or identify new market opportunities and solutions.
• Work with all appropriate company personnel to guide the timely and profitable launch of course programs with an emphasis on digital content development.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure rigorous market development practices.
• Work with senior product management to develop short and long term business growth goals.
• Maintain and strengthen working relationships with vendors, subject matter experts, authors, and internal partners.
• Negotiate contracts and partnerships for new and revised product offerings.
• Demonstrate team building skills through collaboration across all internal/external partnerships; Negotiate contracts and partnerships for new and revised product offerings.
• Work closely with sales colleagues to ensure successful launches of key programs.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity regarding the intersection of accounting education and technology and serve as product champion and market expert across the organization.
A successful candidate will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of three plus years of relevant experience in a customer facing, business development role focusing on product strategy, sales, or marketing.
• Demonstrated successful business development experience and winning record of growing market share, promoting customer retention and driving revenue.
• Build customer relationships and gain consensus across an organization.
• High proficiency with digital learning technology.
• Highly motivated and disciplined, with an ability to manage several critical projects at a time and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills: oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, organization detailed oriented and high prioritization skills are required.
• National travel required, approximately 30%.
