Due to recent growth in Australia, we are seeking to appoint a Head of Online Learning Design. Reporting to the Vice President of University Partnerships, this new position will develop and lead a team of internal, freelance and outsourced instructional and learning design specialists, ensuring scalability and project delivery are achieved.
The Head of Online Learning Design will also be responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of our contemporary and innovative online learning design and course development function.
Key accountabilities;
Leadership over the workforce and capacity/resource planning, strategic planning, and budget management to deliver an effective operating model.
Relationship development and negotiation of commercial agreements for online learning design and course development.
Responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of our contemporary and innovative online learning design and course development function.
Organise and present learning design and development capabilities to clients (domestic travel may be required).
Qualifications
• Extensive experience in a solutions environment in the Higher Education sector.
• Familiarity with pedagogical and andragogical learning principles, instructional design philosophies and strategy, and evaluations strategies.
• Previous experience and substantial knowledge of designing, developing, and delivering online learning.
• Experience with budget management and financial forecasting.
• Excellent writing, presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
