Content Media Producer & Buyer
London
This role will work closely with our publishing and design teams, providing vision and direction for the research and creation of the highest quality assets including images, audio and video.
As our courses become increasingly blended and complex in terms of their production, and to support the most efficient production process, it is essential to establish a comprehensive and well-defined blueprint for required assets at an early stage. As such, you will work closely with the design and publishing teams right from the initial concept stages, advising on, researching and providing relevant assets to help create a fully defined scope and brand (i.e. the blueprint from which all related course components and assets will follow). In turn, this blueprint will enable you to accurately advise, cost and plan for the delivery of all subsequent assets required for the project.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that all assets are produced to the highest quality and are consistent and faithful to the brand, whilst ensuring agreed schedules and budgets are maintained.
You will be expected to achieve the above through the effective selection, commissioning and management of appropriate third party vendors, whilst providing creative input, support and advice to both internal and external teams.
You will be required to work across different types of project, from brand new courses to new editions, adaptations and updates which vary in complexity, scope and size. You will work across projects within a designated learning sector, i.e. pre-primary, primary, secondary, adult and exams.
Experience:
Essential
• Experience of working in a content delivery and/or operations team in the publishing industry
• Experience of commissioning and managing suppliers and/or freelancers in a publishing environment
• Experience of managing budgets and schedules
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Project management experience – managing own (multiple) projects through to deliver
