Position Summary:
The Director, Automotive Remarketing position is responsible to manage new and existing automotive remarketing partnerships and programs and is accountable to be meet or exceed budgeted performance in trials, subscribers and related metrics. The individual will join a team dedicated to the acquisition of subscribers through marketing to new owners of pre-owned vehicles through customer trial programs established through automobile manufacturers, automobile dealers and other related entities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establish and cultivate relationships with business partners, including assigned auto manufactures. Responsible to deepen relationships with key stakeholders the organizations, identify opportunities to provide additional value, and grow remarketing opportunities and programs.
• Lead and serve as program manager for special programs and day-to-day activities aimed at increasing reach. Work cross functionally with SiriusXM operations, marketing, finance, and field teams, as required.
• Collaborate with Marketing Implementation and Field team to ensure that point of sale, online and event marketing programs are appropriately tailored to support Automotive Remarketing objectives.
• Partner with Conversion Marketing team to optimize percentage of trial customers that become long-term subscribers.
• Collaborate with Operations team to ensure efficient processing of supply chain records.
• Participate in Automotive Remarketing budgeting and forecasting activities; manage expenditures within budgeted amounts.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive marketing or business development experience, including 5+ years of relevant experience in an automotive marketing and/or automotive partnership role.
Requirements and General Skills:
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to cultivate, negotiate and manage strategic business relationships.
• Demonstrated track record of business development performance. Self-directed and motivated to deliver results.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to articulate strategy up and down the organization (internally and externally) to gain buy-in and execute successfully on the strategy.
• Strong blend of business development with sales and marketing experience.
• An aptitude for technology, business operations, program management, and creative problem solving.
• Strong presentation skills with comfort level of presenting to senior management and business partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Domestic travel to business partners and SiriusXM office locations.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
