Role Summary:
The Digital Marketing group is under the umbrella of Universal Pictures mktg. The department is responsible for creating and maintaining an online presence for all theatrical releases across the internet and mobile devices, and is often the arena in which movies are initially introduced to the marketplace. This includes the official websites, ad creative, rich media, co-branded websites, and on-line publicity and promotions.
The individual will report to the SVP Digital Marketing, and in this position will have varied responsibilities while at the same fulfilling all digital marketing support functions. Exceptional communication skills both one-on-one and across all levels of management are crucial. Individuals must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, and to efficiently juggle a workload in the face of shifting priorities and deadlines. On a daily basis, the position requires someone that can take initiative with minimal direction, has the ability to seek out information from appropriate sources and has exceptional follow-through. Attention to detail is extremely important.
Individuals in this job must possess solid computer, writing, and creative skills. Strong Excel, Word and Powerpoint experience is a must
Essential Responsibilities:
Be primary administrative support for the SVP of the Digital Marketing Department – scheduling, phones, conference calls, travel, expense reports, etc.
Handle administrative tasks for the Digital Marketing VPs – scheduling, travel, expense reports, etc
Assist with department scheduling
Assist with creating powerpoint decks as needed for presentations
Provide assistance and support for events, digital activations and department functions
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Be self reliant and able to implement and manage tasks independently.
Strong time management skills with a sharp attention to detail.
Strong written and communication skills at all levels.
Excellent computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft-based software: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PhotoShop.

Desired Characteristics
4 year college degree in marketing or related field preferred
Minimum 2 years experience in the entertainment industry specifically digital marketing, production, or post-production
