• Execute full lifecycle software development
• Produce well designed, organized, optimized and documented code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

Description:
In this key technical position you’ll participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, working independently and in small teams designing and implementing new features and platform/system components. You’ll also be an integral member of our global DevOps team that maintains our development and test environments, leads our product deployments, and creates tools to improve productivity and product health.
As a software engineer, you’ll work closely with a great team of software and quality assurance engineers, product managers, technical writers, content producers and customer support to create innovative software that provides an exceptional user experience, rock-solid quality, high availability, and performance at internet scale.
Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science or a related field and 2-4 years of demonstrated work experience as a computer software engineer or software developer
• Experience creating and using software engineering tools
• Familiarity with the Agile software development methodology
• Hands on experience in designing interactive web applications
• Working knowledge of one or more technologies including Perl, Java, Oracle, MongoDB, Linux, ReactJS, YUI, HTTP, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, REST, JSON, Memcached, Redis, Node.JS, Bamboo, Bit-Bucket, Jira
• Strong team player, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
• Curiosity, creativity, collaboration, willingness to learn, and a positive “can do” attitude is a must!
