DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a UX/UI designer with a passion for crafting visual systems - you bleed design and it shows. You will weave iconography, typography, color, space, motion and texture together in order to a best in class experience to our +40 million monthly visitors. You will act as a driving creative force for your projects, participating in the design execution from concept to completion. Collaboration and feedback is key to your success, however, you're not afraid to take the ball and run with it.
Responsibilities:
Live and breathe design
Design and help define the look and feel of our products and initiatives
Maintain core visual identity and ensure it’s application all products and initiatives
Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively
Turn complexity into simplicity through sound design
Ideate through rounds of designs in order to produce the best design possible
Create and ideate design through rapid prototyping
Handle multiple projects and timelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in graphic design, interaction design, new media design or relevant work experience (Agency/Freelance).
Ability to effectively communicate visual solutions
Illustration and sketchbook technique
Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design
Working knowledge of current design software tools and techniques (Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, etc.)
Experience with user interface design patterns
Must successfully pass a background check
Preferred:
Knowledge of HTML, CSS
Motion graphics design and production
Understanding of the Agile methodology
In addition, CBS will be guided by applicable federal, state and local laws when considering for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories.
