Position Summary:
SiriusXM is looking for an experienced leader and collaborative team player to drive key growth initiatives for both our Audio and Connected Vehicle businesses. These initiatives will be focused on our partnerships with Toyota / Lexus, Nissan / Infiniti, Honda / Acura, Hyundai, Kia and Mitsubishi. A successful candidate will be able to work cross-functionally with multiple SiriusXM teams (i.e. Product Development / Streaming, Marketing, Programming, Engineering, Finance, Program Management, etc.) to bring new subscriber growth programs to market in collaboration with our automotive partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Devising, planning and executing strategic go-to-market program initiatives that will increase SiriusXM subscriber growth in both our Audio and CV businesses.
• Creating and gaining internal and external buy-in on strategy and game plans; coordinating execution of those strategies and game plans.
• Supporting efforts to drive adoption of SiriusXM's next generation technology, solutions, and features in cooperation with SiriusXM's engineering, streaming, infotainment, and marketing teams.
• Initiating, maintaining and expanding key relationships with decision makers and influencers across each of our automotive partners.
• Effectively communicating key information from the OEMs within SiriusXM to drive timely responses, overall strategy, product decisions, and ultimately prioritization of initiatives.
• Internal, cross-functional teamwork responsibilities:
◦ Engage with Marketing to drive subscriber growth / conversion.
◦ Partner with Engineering to drive new solutions in both Audio and Connected Vehicle.
◦ Drive SiriusXM's streaming strategy in partnership with Product Development.
◦ Collaborate with Finance to formulate accurate short term and long term forecasts.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.
Minimum Requirements:
• BA/BS required; MBA, Management Master's degree, or equivalent work experience required.
• A minimum of 15 years of business development, product development, marketing, and/or account management experience in a Business-to-Business role.
Requirements and General Skills:
• Strong sense of urgency to respond to the needs of our OEM partners.
• Effective communicator both internally and externally.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work internally with team members at all levels.
• Ability to interact with and influence senior executives and effectively communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally..
• Demonstrated experience negotiating contractual agreements / SOWs.
• OEM, automotive supplier or Tier 1 experience highly valued.
• Strong business planning and analysis skills.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive contractual negotiations towards successful resolution.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
