The Statistical Analyst is responsible for providing various support including but not limited to data validation, conducting and replicating analyses, and creating statistical reports on behalf and in support of the psychometric team.
They will also work closely with the measurement and research staff to automate and streamline data cleaning and preparation, statistical and psychometric analyses, and the production of technical reports. The stat analyst also serves as the technical liaison
between measurement and research staff and the software developers responsible for the business intelligence data warehouse.
• Data Analysis -- Contribute to analysis of item and test data in the following capacity: prepare data requests; conduct data cleaning activities; conduct data analysis; perform quality assurance checks; archive data files
• Documentation -- Document data management processes and procedures
• Report Assistance -- Assist in the creation of technical reports
• Research Assistance -- Participate in testing and operational research projects

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Undergraduate degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent along with 1-2 years experience in a similar job function or a Masters degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or equivalent
• Experience in computer programming and statistical analysis
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in MS Office, and text editors
• Experience with statistical packages such R, Python, SAS or SPSS
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to be a part of a team.
• Ability to summarize complex technical information and communicate it to a variety of audiences
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
