Under the direction of the Senior Manager of the OSS PMO & Governance, the PCO candidate (Project Coordinator and Control Officer) will be leading a large scope of accountabilities, responsibilities and opportunities within the Bell Network OSS team that cover both wireless and wireline organizations. The responsibilities of the PMO and therefore the PCOs will evolve with the demands of our transforming organization towards Agile/Lean.
Job Responsibilities (not limited to):
CAPEX and Procurement
• Provide budget management support, including creating and presenting monthly, quarterly and yearly budget reports and YEE
• Provide backup/assistance on purchase order management on the overall OSS portfolio; this includes creating and updating purchase orders in the SAP system
Control and Support
• Manage process to ensure compliancy on essential projects reporting data including (but not limited to) project health, budget, start & end date. Ensure that the information provided is accurate, complete, of quality and up to date
• Prepare and/or collate work load data to allow resource managers to make decisions on work assignments
• Support Visual Management Systems as required
• Manage the process to facilitate the review and sharing of PMO knowledge base throughout the organization
• Provide support and/or create reports for OSS, Program and executive meetings
• Provide project control and support to the Project and Program managers on managing budgets, vacation schedules, environment schedules on large OSS initiatives
Governance Processes
• Guardian of our governance process
• Ensure Governance meetings proactive support
• Produce Monthly Governance reports that reflect key PMO KPIs
• Responsible to update & maintain PMO user guides and documentation as required
• Support Project Managers to archive relevant Project documentation to meet auditing standards
• Provide support into the SR&ED and Deloitte auditing processes
• Proactively contribute to identify waste or potential improvements in any PMO related processes to support the organizational transformation towards Lean/Agile framework
Required Skills:
Competencies
• Bachelor degree in Information System or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of experience
• Process analysis/improvement experience
• Problem management solving skills
• Expert user of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, Power Point
• Must be able to create Pivot tables, run macros and export to PPT from Excel
• JIRA, Confluence expert user/admin
• Good exposure with project management methodology and the SDLC process
• Good exposure with the Agile/Scrum methodology and Lean
• Good exposure to Telecom and/or Information Technology domains and business to understand the nature of the associated deliverables
• Proper level of training in project management such as CAPM, PMP or PSM would be an asset
• Good Microsoft Project experience would be an asset
