ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
FreeWheel is hiring a New York based Senior Enterprise Sales Director who will be focused on customer renewals. In this position, you will work closely with the customer account owners and various divisions within FreeWheel to identify opportunities, sell through the value of FreeWheel and negotiate large customer renewal contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Represent FreeWheel in market
• Develop long term and strategic relationships at the most senior levels with prospects and customers
• Work closely with Strategic Development team and Relationship team to identify areas of opportunities within existing customers
• Own deal cycle from proposal through contract execution with focus on aggressive revenue goals
• Work across the organization to provide customers with education on total FreeWheel solution and value
• Develops and administers an annual operating budget for Product Sales.
• Assists in the development of long-term sales strategies and marketing plans.
• Identifies tools to assist with sales activities and action steps to follow in the sales campaign.
• Works closely with training teams for deployment of successful training curriculum and ensures access to all resources and tools needed to develop a skilled and knowledgeable staff.
• Works with leadership throughout the organization to coordinate marketing and sales efforts.
• Implements advertising and promotional activities.
• Oversees the recruitment, training, and leadership in multiple teams of Product Sales personnel. Develops and assists in coordinating all logistical aspects of the sales program.
• Deploys incentives and other programs as necessary to achieve critical milestones to success.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
ABOUT YOU:
• BA/BS degree required
• JD or MBA preferred
• Ultra high EQ
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in sales or business development and preferably within media and/or ad tech or 9+ years related experience
• A business professional with a proven track record for relationship development and product sell through.
• Understanding of digital advertising ecosystem
• A proven ability to navigate large media companies, identify key stakeholders and build lasting relationships with those stakeholders
• A track record of successful contract negotiation
• Deal oriented. You know how to execute a deal from proposal to contract signature.
• A proven track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales goals
