Our University Partnerships Department is the latest stage in our evolution. Partnering with leading Australian Universities, we assist them to acquire and retain students for online programs that deliver scale and accessibility through a flexible and highly desirable student experience.
Due to recent growth in Australia, we are seeking to appoint a Commercial Services Director. Reporting to the Vice President of University Partnerships, this new position will be 2IC to the VP and responsible for driving productivity and service quality of our Alliance Delivery services- market research, marketing, student recruitment, and student engagement and retention services, supported by performance analytics and launch teams.
The Commercial Services Director will manage the effective integration of the Alliance Delivery Services to achieve defined revenue, student experience and profit objectives, through effective strategic planning, resource allocation and budget management.
Key deliverables include:
• Leadership over a diverse team of senior direct reports and specialist functions
• Achieve revenue and student experience targets
• Strategic Planning & Financial management
• Alliance Board/ Joint Steering Committee representation
• Lifecycle management through the integration of all alliance delivery services- launch, analytics, market research, marketing, student recruitment and student retention.
• Develop and manage Market Research capability
• Ensure partner/ program/ course selection is informative, accurate and commercial outcomes are achieved
• Define and monitor student experience journey throughout the student lifecycle to achieve learner outcomes (efficacy)
• Project management and execution of all program and partner launches
Qualifications
• Senior management experience in a related industry or field
• Experience managing large, cross functional teams- ideally across sales and marketing
• Substantial knowledge of, or experience with Australian Universities- executive and operational teams
• Previous experience as the Business Owner for a major technology upgrade or implementation project
• Experience in managing P & L, financial forecasting and budget management
• Strong commercial acumen
