Role Description
We are seeking a HR Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne and work across our diverse businesses. The successful candidate will provide first level advice to clients on a range of HR queries related to policy, procedures, and entitlements.
They will also play an important part in end-to-end recruitment of staff including monitoring the recruitment process, supporting hiring managers, writing advertising copy and interview guides and coordinating interviews.
The HR Coordinator will develop, collate and maintain reports, spreadsheets, surveys and reports on key HR metrics. They will also be responsible for content on the HR intranet and will be involved in orientation of new staff.
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Tertiary level qualification in HR or related discipline preferred
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a HR role preferred
• Previous recruitment experience, including shortlisting and interviewing candidates
• Previous HRIS experience or knowledge including understanding of HR reporting requirements
• Basic knowledge of Payroll processing preferred
• Excellent relationship building and strong customer focus
• Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Understanding of employment awards and relevant legislation
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel) to intermediate level
• Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
• Results oriented, proven ability to manage own time efficiently, work to deadlines and to be a proactive/self-starter
