Qualifications
The appointed individual will be responsible for carrying out regular test centre administrator activities, whilst at the same time performing a number of additional co-ordination activities. The individual will also act as the main point of contact for regional test centre management.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure timely test delivery of exams at mobile testing locations
• Ensure the candidate experience meets PPC standards
• Ensure the mobile testing vehicle is in a test delivery situation at all times
• Ensure physical and data security of vehicle
• Ensure compliance of Health & Safety of passengers/candidates attending vehicle
• Ensure compliance of Health and Safety at work legal requirements for vehicle driving
• Ensure up-to-date software is downloaded and commissioned from HQ in accordance to client specification and target dates (inc. company deadlines)
• Ensure future tests are timely uploaded to mobile testing vehicles before travelling to mobile testing location

Key Activities
• Ensure test results of mobile testing sites are successfully downloaded via RMA to HQ within timely deadlines
• Manage mobile testing technical problems remotely and successfully
• Manage mobile testing technical problems remotely and successfully with aid from Pearson VUE Technical helpdesk
• Maintain relations with contract mechanic engineers to ensure successful mechanical operations of mobile testing vehicle
• Maintain relations with contract software engineers to ensure successful technical operations of mobile testing vehicle
• Assist in staffing duties at permanent test sites if and when required
• Meet company compliance of the accreditation annual assessment
• Ensure basic technical (hardware and software) maintenance of technical equipment for mobile testing vehicles
• Ensure physical maintenance of mobile testing vehicles (internal and external)
• Ensure communication of company and client information and updates are conveyed to all staffing at mobile testing locations
• Assist in and warrant compliance of client contract service standards for mobile testing locations.
• Ensure mobile testing vehicle is equipped with relevant client materials for test delivery (e.g. taxation tables etc), candidate processing materials (e.g. declaration forms etc)
• Ensure timely order of relevant material (e.g. paper and pass certificates) required for mobile testing vehicles
• Provide regional manager a detailed account of timesheets (e.g. driving time, admin time, etc) at end of payroll period
• Communicate with regional manager at least once a week to discuss driver rotas and scheduling
• Create and send reports and information as requested by the regional manager
• Ensure cost effective practices of running, maintenance and operations of mobile testing vehicles
• Assume additional responsibilities and act up into TCM role when local TCM is not present on mobile testing location.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
• Must have a valid Category C Driving License
• Experienced in long distance driving
• Able to operate independently to meet deadlines
• Good understanding of computer technology
• Customer service experience
• Experience of managing conflict.
Desirable Experience and Qualifications
• Experience in a testing environment.
Working Arrangements
• This is a full time position and you will be required to work 30 hours per week
• You will be based in one of our Mobile Testing Vehicles
• Some local travel to other PPCs and occasional testing sites will also be required, including travel to Western Isles (by air/ferry) to conduct occasional testing with laptop equipment.
• A flexible approach to working is essential for this position as opening hours will vary according to the volume of tests booked.
• Full days will be required
• Testing hours will be from Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 4:15pm, Saturday 7:30am - 12:15am. One late evening per week 11:00am - 7:45pm.
• You will be required to work a variety of days and specific days cannot be specified.
• Salary – £18,018 (£22,522.50 pro rata)
