Responsibilities
The Digital Sales Manager will manage local digital sales effort to achieve/exceed NBC6 digital revenue targets. Will be responsible for one direct report, and with supporting the local sales team to achieve/exceed their digital revenue targets.
• Support the digital advertising sales efforts for NBC6 including forecast management & sales analysis
• Craft and execute a strategic plan to grow digital, mobile and streaming revenue
• Collaborate and articulate weekly revenue projections to key sales leaders including GM, VP of Sales, Finance and senior executive team
• Work closely with television sales and sales management as well as other inter-company divisions on cross platform initiatives and pitches
• Communicate sales needs to other internal group including sales development and Ad Operations and sales support
• Ongoing development of Account Executives on how to sell and position digital products along with linear media assets
• Stay current on third party research relevant to the station website(s); Comscore, Nielsen Net Ratings, etc.
• Interpret and present qualitative and quantitative market research/data to senior management, station sales staff and clients
• Work directly with clients and sales team to provide superior client service and execute integrated marketing plans along with supervising campaign recaps/proof of performance
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s/Master degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience
• Demonstrated strong level expertise within the digital media space with an emphasis on mobile, video and sponsorship sales
• Experience working in large traditional media organizations
• Proven history of selling thorough and consultative solutions to top brands and agencies and direct business owners
• Must be willing to work at the location in Miramar Florida.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel, at times work outside of normal business hours, and, potentially on weekends with short notice.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Desired Characteristics
