The Director, Global Solutions represents and provides support for existing and newly developed clients under the AEG Facilities Global Services division. The Director, Global Solutions leads and ensures that contractual obligations are met for each client, as well as continues to develop relationships with existing clients.
Responsibilities:
• Serves as the primary day-to-day contact for pre-opening design and operational consulting services with clients on assigned projects
• Oversees AEG/client relationship along with SVP/Managing Director as well as other divisional senior leadership
• Directs and works with AEG staff to ensure that contract conformance and key deliverables are met and adhered to.
• Works to develop and execute communication plans regarding key deliverables and KPI's to clients.
• Responsible for managing multiple projects that may be complex in nature and scope. This would include serving as the project lead.
• Manages scope of assigned project and enlists AEG support, as needed. Defines AEG support needed and plans for such support with responsible department heads
• Represents AEG in sales presentations, RFP's, and project planning meetings. Assists in the preparation and presentation of bid responses and solicitations of new business. Develops operations plans, budgets and timelines to meet the requirements of assigned projects.
• Develops new and implement existing AEG branded initiatives as a resource to clients for the support of new and existing business development. Oversee the implementation of those resources by:
◦ Providing outreach to existing and future AEG Facilities venues to implement AEG branded initiatives.
◦ Working with AEG department leaders to maximize the utilization of existing programs and create new initiatives that can be used to perform the services.
◦ Working with third party vendors to create AEG Facilities branded initiatives
Qualifications:
• A minimum education level of BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Business Administration, Venue Management or its equivalent
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of related work experience required, including 5 years' experience in venue management with a focus on operations and guest services is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical designs, program documents and blueprints
• Experience in design and construction management process
• Demonstrated experience and success in playing a key operational management roll in pre-opening, opening and managing arenas/stadiums.
• Experience with establishing and managing project and departmental budgets and financial projections
• Project management experience
• Ability to effectively and proactively communicate with inter/intra company and with external clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and ability to learn all required business systems
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in developing presentation materials.
• Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic/internationally)
• Experience in creating and managing profit and loss statements
• Knowledge of financial modeling and projections
