The Project Coordinator will be responsible, under the direction of the senior project management staff, for managing multiple parallel projects and tasks, removing roadblocks, creating efficient process, increasing visibility of progress through communication, and coordinating key meetings. The Project Coordinator will work with multiple departments to create alignment of goals, reports on status and resolve tactical issues and tasks.
• Support Project Manager and other members of the Project Management Staff on a day-to-day basis, coordinating project scheduling, tracking, and resource management.
• Track and facilitate cross department/discipline projects by coordinating project meeting logistics, taking meeting notes, and capturing action items.
• Create and improve processes to ensure project tasks and follow-through occur smoothly.
• Identify and remove project roadblocks, such as overcommitted resources, project interdependencies, or misaligned task scheduling.
• Create and maintain status reports for multiple technology projects.
• Responsible for setting up regular project review meetings and updating project status.
• Take on additional tactical responsibilities as needed to allow departmental leads to focus on technical execution of their projects.
• Foster positive working relationship and teamwork within the development teams with an emphasis on communication.
• Coordinate and liaise with Business Affairs, IS, and IT to facilitate quick resolutions on engineering team requests, including closing contracts, getting VPN setup, facilitating onsite vendor meetings, PR approvals, paper submissions, scheduling meetings, and contractor hiring.
• Coordinate meetings, team morale-building, and attendance at events such as GDC, Siggraph, and other developer conferences.
Requirements:
Education / Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years project coordination experience with one or more major project completed in a production/project management/coordinator role or equivalent experience.
Required Skills / Competencies:
• Demonstrate exceptional organization, communication and task management skills.
• Must have excellent follow-through and reliability when tasks are assigned or given.
• Demonstrate an ability to handle multiple demands from various stakeholders, have a strong ability to maintain professionalism with climate changes, and display finesse when working under fast-moving conditions.
• Must be self-directed, detail oriented and a problem solver with a passion to contribute to a uniquely creative environment.
• Must be flexible, receptive and open to change.
Technical Skills:
• Strong technical background desirable.
• Working knowledge of asset tracking software tools a plus.
