Job Summary:
Comcast NBCUniversal is seeking an Executive Director to join the Community Investment and Corporate Social Responsibility team based in our Philadelphia office. In 2015, Comcast NBCUniversal and its Foundations provided over $500 million in cash and in-kind support to not for profit partners serving the communities where we live in work. The Executive Director will report to the Senior Vice President, Community Investment and will play a critical role in increasing our effectiveness and impact internally as well as in our communities.
Core Responsibilities:
-Work closely with CI/CSR management, business/brand partners, corporate and division leadership and grantee partners, to develop standardized grantmaking/funding strategy, guidelines and process. Develop and establish goals and aid the data, reporting and analytics teams to establish assessment tools and appropriate tracking and monitoring systems for internal and external reporting and communications purposes.
-Serve as chief architect for core administrative policies and processes owned and managed by the CI/CSR team. Establish education and outreach plans within and outside of our team as needed. Work with legal & compliance, HR and other relevant functions to ensure adherence to various policies impacting our team and respective foundations.
-Develop presentations and analyses for internal and external use that capture a cohesive view of the Comcast NBCUniversal CSR portfolio. Foster connections across team, brands/businesses as needed to help drive collaboration and connect disparate efforts. Drive and support strategic planning & analysis activities across the management team.
-Support management team in relationship management and negotiation with core external partners. Provide oversight and guidance to the management team as well as troubleshoot, escalate and help ensure major initiatives are on budget and on track.
-Work with business partners throughout the company and seek out opportunities for active partnership that help build upon our reputation and brand promise as well as meet our community investment objectives. Help to educate and build awareness among department staff on major business priorities.
-Function as spokesperson and representative for Comcast NBCUniversal to relevant press/media, community partners and leaders, board and professional memberships, philanthropy professionals and others as needed.
-Serve as senior project manager and/or lead for key administrative and operational priorities including but not limited to annual team summit, talent management practices, agenda setting and relevant follow-ups, budget allocation, external event coordination, senior management interaction, board placement requests, foundation governance and field engagement.
-Work with management team to establish protocol and process for sharing key charitable giving statistics and program information with internal and external audiences. Work to consolidate and coordinate data capture both within our department and across various entities.
-Draft and review select communications materials and collateral for accuracy, consistency and tone.
-Key point of contact for core corporate & CSR functions (Communications, HR/Talent, External/Govt Affairs, Public Policy, and D&I, Vets, etc.).

-Advanced interpersonal and relationship management skills and ability to manage through influence

-Demonstrated abilities in managing complex operating environments and issues including developing solutions and putting standards in place to manage
-Ability to travel significantly as neededJob Specification:
-Master's Degree strongly preferred
-12-15 years experience in a related capacity
-Senior experience in an operations/finance/executive administration capacity strongly preferred
-Grantmaking and program/partnership development in corporate or private foundation setting preferred
-Experience or knowledge base in tech, media/entertainment industry a plus
