Vevo's looking for a talented Email Marketing Manager to join our team in New York. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Marketing Director, working alongside a team of marketers, designers and social media managers. Our new Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for writing, crafting, and recapping email newsletter campaigns, as well as writing social media and promo copy for Vevo. Our ideal candidate is great at email marketing and related metrics, is able to juggle several projects at one time, and is comfortable working within tight deadlines.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
◦ Copywriting for email newsletters, social media, blog and video promos.
◦ Manage the acquisition, retention and engagement of email newsletters.
◦ Determine targeting, conduct A/B tests, monitor metrics and optimize engagement in support of Vevo’s email initiatives.
◦ Collaborate with the marketing team to define brand tone and voice.
Education and Experience:
◦ 2-4-years experience in copywriting and email marketing.
◦ Minimum 1-2 years experience for an in-house team or agency.
◦ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email service providers, ideally SendGrid.
◦ Working knowledge of HTML & CSS is necessary.
◦ Strong writing skills and understanding of music media landscape.
◦ Basic understanding of marketing, design and brand concepts.
◦ Experience writing for social media.
◦ Problem solving skills, great written and verbal communication chops, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team are all essential!
