WWE is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-orientated Social Video Editor to work within WWE’s ever-growing Digital Video and Social department. This position will create, produce, and edit digital content catered to social media platforms. This creative, driven, and self-efficient team member will see projects through from concept to post with a quick turnaround timetable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce short-form digital and social video content catered to the appropriate platforms
• Initiate and create new social video concepts
• Coordinate with Social Media Producers on projects for appropriate platforms
• Responsible for quality control for all aspects of production and content for social video projects
• Keep current with WWE programming, storylines, talent, brands, and products
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of related experience in Social and Digital Post production
• 2+ years of editing experience with applications such as Avid and Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop)
• Experience in producing and editing video content specific for social platforms, e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter
• Knowledge of the latest trends in social media creation and consumption
• Understanding of the different social platforms and how to best produce content specific for those platforms
• Capable of handling and organizing multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledgeable about current and past WWE TV shows, products, talent, and storylines preferred
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-based, ever-changing environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor degree in Communications, Digital Media, Social Media, Video Production or related field of study preferred
