We are seeking a high-energy, creative, and entrepreneurial individual to join our ranks as our Director, Client Services. This person will design and execute strategic marketing campaigns for some of our largest clients, as well as evolve and scale the client services team as GEMG continues to grow. An obsession with delivering “white glove” client service, a hyper-focus on driving operational efficiency, and a love for using creative thinking to solve client problems are all qualities that will drive success in this role.
Responsibilities Include:
• Work with clients to develop and run high-performing, breakthrough marketing campaigns targeting the government audience. Use GEMG’s proprietary insights to develop engaging programs that deliver high ROI and buzz for our clients’ brands. Manage client relationships, expectations, and delivery of ROI.
• Oversee GEMG’s client services operations, including processes, policies, and standards, for delivering exceptional “white glove” service to our marketing clients.
• Lead a team responsible for managing GEMG client marketing campaigns, including serving as POC for clients, creating contracts, building timelines, scheduling project meetings, and managing campaign execution from activation to recap.
• Directly oversee especially complex or strategic client campaigns, serving as marketing and content consultant to client and leading campaign strategy development and execution.
• Drive efficient, seamless communications and workflow across sales, product and execution teams.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts to address complex client requirements and issues.
• Work with audience marketing, digital, content, and design teams to ensure campaigns are delivered in full.
The ideal candidate has:
• 5+ years of experience in a client service and/or program/project management role, preferably with a media organization, digital agency, or B2B company
• Extensive experience in designing and managing complex digital and content marketing campaigns in the government market
• Strong experience in managing client engagements, including leading client meetings, communicating program updates, creating client reports, etc.
• Exceptional organization and workflow management skills
• Strong background in digital advertising and media preferred
• Familiarity using project management applications, such as Asana
• Excellent written, verbal communications skills
• Poise and grace under pressure
• Working knowledge of ad trafficking, AdBook (or similar system) and Salesforce preferred
