Responsibilities
This role sits in NBCUniversal International HR, reporting to Director, Global Mobility. Based in London, the role is primarily focused on the effective delivery of specialist operational and strategic global mobility via day to day consultation with the business. It will also have responsibility for managing projects that form part of the overall Global Mobility programme.
Qualifications/Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
• Managing day-to-day operational case load of all cross border moves globally across Comcast, NBCUniversal and other Comcast-owned entities
• Acting as centre of expertise on all global mobility topics, including compensation, tax, expatriate policies and assignment benefits
• Work with the business to continually understand and align their business needs with the overall Global Mobility proposition
• Working with HR colleagues to inform them of different global mobility policies and ensuring that we identify the best approach for each individual according to the employee’s and the business’ drivers
• Support in both implementation and design of ongoing innovative solutions aligned to Global Mobility policy
• Respond to information requests from internal accounting professionals to support proper budgeting and accounting for tax equalization
• Working with outside tax service provider to obtain tax cost estimates for short and long term global mobility assignments and supporting business stakeholders to understand and accrue for the costs
• Working with Global Mobility Director to identify and implement process improvements relating to Global Mobility and compliance
• Working with the Global Mobility Director to rollout and communicate mobility initiatives
• Support any specific Global Mobility RFP’s including but not limited to full scoping of services required
• Maintaining an active presence in global mobility forums and engage across external networks
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 1-2 years at Global Mobility Manager level
• Demonstrable experience of dealing with all elements of Global Mobility within a fast paced, matrix managed and complex multinational organisation
• Experience of influencing and engaging stakeholders including building and managing relationships within a diverse business globally
• Maintain and develop business and market knowledge regarding Global Mobility
• Represent Comcast NBCUniversal in internal and external networking groups and forums on mobility bringing knowledge of best practice
• Understanding of remuneration, benefits, expatriate payroll concepts, balance sheets and tax essential
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with a solid foundation in the areas of global mobility, compensation and compliance
• Solid understanding of global immigration
• Understand and design processes and find solutions
• Creative thinker with good brainstorming and conceptual skills
• Results-orientated with a pragmatic outlook and the ability to make the complex understandable
• Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to form strong relationships across the business
• Familiarity and/or experience with outsourced/insourced global mobility service delivery models.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
